Why do you support Dr. Paul ?

I saw Dr. Paul leading some polls before I ever knew who he was. I never dreamt that there would be a Republican whom I would want to support, especially after what George Bush and his minions have done to America but I don't think it took more than a few minutes of observing Ron Paul before I realized that I was looking at a man who has not sold his soul.
I hope our appreciation of Dr. Paul will herald the rise of a new breed of politicos who will overtake the old guard in both parties and who will truly serve the people of America.

Why do I support Ron Paul? The question is who could NOT support Ron Paul!

A year before I discovered Dr. Paul I was so depressed and despondent. 9/11, Iraq, Iran, touchier, fear-o-meters, the Patriot Act, War Commissions Act, Presidential Signing Directives, illegal wiretapping, domestic terrorism drills, Project Falcon, hints of Supreme Court Judge intimidation, zero tolerance for whistle blowers, trillions in national dept, SCHIP, National ID cards, Mental Health screening, No Child Left Behild and DA's removed for political reasons.

Everyone just seemed to stand aside, scramble to authorizing it or acted like their hands were tied.

I was in disbelief, NOBODY seemed to care, just write your representative... Oh and I did!

Then I started to research and found Duba was just the icing. Clinton, Bush Sr., Regan, Carter and a few more administrations make-up the poison cake we find ourselves chewing on.

Then like a flicker of warm light there was Ron Paul. A Congressman, a R-e-p-u-b-l-i-c-a-n Congressman who stands on 30-years of unwavering moral and ethical ground. Who can't be bought or corrupted. Who would never sanction all of these despotic acts that have become the status quo. A statesman, a patriot, worthy of respect and admiration. The only person in either camp I will vote for with a huge smile on my face.

I enjoy the new buzz of discussion about politics. I myself have started to really think about the "proper" roll of government. I have come to understand the vast difference in collectivism v. individualism. I now understand with perfect clarity how the Constitution is a vital tool in the preservation of liberty and am energized to tell everyone I know about Ron Paul!
